We want this site to be a community of horror, but the world of horror is big (hell yes!) and we’re not interested in competing in that arena. Especially when it comes to our favorite vice, HORROR MOVIES! So in an effort to make things clear, here’s what we’re not.
We don’t promote or cover general, upcoming horror movies. We’re only interested in promoting horror movies that are filming in and around Austin — movies like Jesse Dayton’s throw back zombie flick, Zombex and the twisted, vamp production, Postmodern Undead. You’ll find out about those and many more so keep tuned to your favorite bat station … er, site … Blood Over Texas.
If it’s not affiliated with Austin in some way you won’t see it here — unless one of us runs into Bruce Campbell at The Jackalope — again — and has pictures to prove it. That would be here. Or possibly a run in with a drunken human centipede at last years Texas Frightmare Weekend featuring segments, Tokyo Gore Police director, Yoshihiro Nishimura and Tim League of Alamo Drafthouse. Well juiced up, on the floor of the lobby after hours, face to ass, dressed in diapers and cat ears. Yup… that will definitely be seen on here:

And reviews? Well that’s always a touchy subject in my opinion. One persons “lack of blood” is another’s “blood bath” so I’m choosing to keep my measly reviews off this site because this site is for you my lovely fiends. Now don’t get me wrong, if you run into me while out creeping the dark places of Austin, I’ll happily tell you my thoughts of the “fill-in-the-blank” horror movie but for now, we’re not that.
